Our Visitor Centers are open daily to serve your needs while you are here and are operated by a knowledgeable staff who welcomes your questions. The Richmond Region has been welcoming visitors since John Smith and Christopher Newport arrived from Jamestown in 1607. The more than 5 million visitors to the Region each year discover our museums, historic sites, class IV whitewater, and challenging golf courses. The Richmond Region is brimming with outdoor festivals, concerts and sporting events to keep the most active visitor busy all year round.

The Region is comprised of the counties of Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico, New Kent and the city of Richmond. Our central location makes the Region truly easy to get to from Interstate 95 and 64 or via Richmond International Airport or by train into the renovated Main Street Station.
