Where to Eat
The Richmond Region has great taste. With more than 900 restaurants, you're sure
to find something to please your palate here. If you're looking for a
neighborhood eatery, you won't have to look far. Nearly every corner of the
Fan, Shockoe Slip and Cary Street has a locally-owned and operated eatery,
whether you're looking for an outdoor table to enjoy a quick burger and fries
or an intimate, candlelit corner to celebrate a special occasion.
If you prefer a more familiar national chain, we have those too. A quick drive
down Henrico County's Broad Street or Chesterfield's Midlothian Turnpike will
yield a multitude of options from fine dining to fast-food and sit-down chains.
But tucked in the back corners of some of the same chain-lined shopping centers
are the mom-and-pop eateries loved by the locals. If your craving's a little
diverse, check out the Region's many ethnic eateries, serving everything from
African to Vietnamese.
From down-home cooking and southern barbecue to elegant, five-star cuisine, we
have something for every craving and every wallet. So sit back, browse our
restaurant guide and let your taste buds do the walking.
